The Overseas Electric Power Research Institute has been publishing the booklet "The Electric Power Industry in Japan" almost every year since 1959, the year after its founding, to the present day.
This booklet explains Japan's electric power industry system and the latest situation, primarily for an overseas audience, in English with plenty of photos and diagrams. The back of the book also includes statistical information related to Japan's electric power industry. Thanks to your support, we have received a lot of positive feedback to date.
Starting with the 2019 edition, we are making the PDF version available free of charge, with the aim of distributing information on Japan's electric power industry more widely to the world.

• Sales of the print edition (including past editions) will be discontinued from the 2019 edition onwards.
• There is no Japanese version.
• There are no plans to release past editions prior to the 2018 edition for free.
