International Exchange Activities
We are promoting information and face to face exchanges with the main actors involved in the electric utility industries in Europe and the United States by holding regular meetings and taking part in international conferences and symposiums. Specifically, we collaborate with Edison Electric Institute (EEI) and the Nuclear Energy Institute (NEI) of the United States. In Europe we work with, EURELECTRIC, Bundesverband der Energie und Wasserwirtschaft (BDEW) of Germany, and Electricite de France (EDF), and in China, we partner with China Electricity Council (CEC). JEPIC also works with the International Energy Agency (IEA). These relationships help smooth the way for our survey, research and training activities. We are also pushing ahead on exchanges with Japan-based electric utility industry-related organizations such as the French Embassy, EDF, the State Grid Corporation of China, and Korea Electric Power Corporation.
Additionally, JEPIC has been conducting periodical meetings with foreign organizations mentioned below for extensive exchanges of information in the electric power field.
- - Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT)
- - China National Nuclear Corporation (CNNC) / China General Nuclear Power Group (CGN) /State Power Investment Corporation (SPIC) *Now exchange activities with ROSENERGOATOM (Russia) and ENERGOATOM (Ukraine) are temporary suspended.
JEPIC has also been holding the symposium jointly with HAPUA (The Heads of ASEAN Power Utilities and Authorities) from FY 2007.
