Research and Information Activities

JEPIC provides up-to-date information based on fact finding research and comparative studies and including statistical data on the electric utility industries in the world through its publications and in various other ways. It also provides appropriate information services about the electric utility industry in Japan upon request from overseas electric utilities and related organizations.

Exchange and Cooperative Activities

JEPIC coordinates the Japanese electric utilities' exchange and cooperative activities and provides necessary arrangements for the reception and dispatch of personnel. It also supports the personnel training programs of its member companies by dispatching their trainees to developed countries in North America , Europe and Oceania.

International Cooperation

JEPIC promotes integrated international cooperation in developing countries in the electric power field mainly through the efforts of the JEPIC International Cooperation Center(ICC). In recent years, ICC has expanded its cooperative activities in areas such as reception of trainees and sending of experts. It also performs the following functions: conducting studies on the state of electric utility industries in developing countries and exploring their needs for assistance, establishing and following up on cooperation programs; and engaging in exchange activities with electric utility industries in developing countries.
